ok- so i COULD fill those 8 slots with 128 meggers? and the beast will actually use all of it??

Note, this is what " Guru" A RAM utility put out by a Chip seller says.

seems like som ramsellers sell ram that works and others do not, it will all be recognized but hangs or freezes of some bad 128 has been reported. many on this list has verified that it works, if I remember correctly - at the moment I use 320 mb ram @ home and I never run short of it, I guess maxed out is for videoediting and OS X
