No intent to embarrass you (that's why no names... 8-) .) That's what Apple
says...assuming flawed jai was quoting the model # correctly....
The 6360 was the odd man out of the 6(2/3)00 series. The other ones
(6200-6320) were all road appl...er, LCIII PDS macs, which do use 72-pin
SIMMs. Maybe Heid & Pogue, in spit of playing Mac experts "on TV", may have
glossed over that detail....
Bottom line: If it's the right model, then any RAM in the 6360 should work
in the 8500.
