I doubt it. POP is POP is POP. All you'll need to do is change the server settings for the new ISP.
Nor will you need a new browser, despite many ISP's including one in their install kit.
Several people here with outside ISP's like Earthlink. My mom (a PC user, alas) is also happy with them.
