Well OK!
Put 'er there pal.

I thought it was what they called beernuts on a pirateship. From grog- an alcoholic quaff and nards . . . . well you know.
And by the way, I had just come home lasy night from fighting the PCs to get Mac data in. I was reminded of the trick of adding the suffixes.
I want to ask if you know of any way to get around this. If Pcs and Macs are on a network how can files be exchanged without the manual addition
of the dot something.? I am not networked but figured networked machines must have an answer. The PC nards around here just keep telling me
" you can't get there from here. " I think they just are uninformed or do not want to deal with it.
Both, most likely.
It depends on the software and the files involved. Both Adobe and Microsoft products have settings where you can automatically add the extensions, in the file save dialogs. these are toggled settings, once on they stay on.
I just heard from the TV production director our G5 Macs will be history . The department is going HD digital getting a new facility and it will be
all PC -Premiere Pro oriented .
Those poor, poor slobbos. They'll soon discover why Adobe didn't even bother to compete with Apple.
