Dave, If you're running something older than MacOS 9.1, After Dark 4.03 will run on it... That'll provide a screen saver... -J

I'm a bit of a Mac newbie, and would like to know if there is a utility to allow you to turn off the video on a 5500 while you are running an application... I run streaming audio on one of my 5500s and hate to have the screen sitting there running full tilt showing a whole lot of nothing going on. I know, I should just get my Quadra online and use it, but I'm running out of desk!
Thanks!

i'm not familiar with the 5500 or your monitor. But if you have speakers plugged into the external sound port just switch the monitor " off ".
