Thanks, I have those 'IBM/NEC' leaflets as well. It's not that I don't have other adapters, I just have more machines than I can plug in at once!

Hi,
An old machine I bought from eBay recently came with a LaCie VGA adapter, the usual Mac-to-VGA type that has been around since the Quadra days. It is dark blue and has 8 DIP switches but came with no instruction leaflet so I don't know how to configure it for my fixed-resolution LCD display.
I've tried Googling and asking LaCie technical support but to no avail.
Does anyone on the list have one of these units and know anything about
the settings, please!?

Unfortunately, I have a leaflet giving the goods on Mac/IBM 10pin and 6pin;
NEC/Mac 10 pin and 6pin; and Mac/Multi-Sync adaptor 10 pin. But eight
switches no... Perhaps you can get clues from it? My thing has 10 switches,
many have 6. If you think this detailed list with its charts could be useful
to you, I can scan it (it is on glossy and very tiny print so I will do this
for myself, no trouble - so I can enlarge slightly) and send you or anyone a
gif... Let me know, cobber...
