Much of the functionality of Apple Data Detectors was lost with OS 9.1
because the "Contextual Menu Enabler" extension used by the Data Detectors
was disabled by OS 9.1. For folks who still wish to use fully functional
Data Detectors with OS 9.1 there is a work around. Open Resedit and use the
get file and folder information menu item. Select the Contextual Menu
Enabler (probably found in the extensions disabled folder) and change its
create type from "cmne" to "cmnu" and save the changes. Move the Contextual
Menu Enabler back into the Extension folder and restart. You should have
the full functionality of Apple Data Detectors back.

Which functions of ADD do you find to be missing? I ask because I'm running 9.1, have the unmodified Contextual Menu Enabler extension installed, and am using ADD without noticing any problems.
