Might be a problem with the hard drive or maybe just the data is corrupted. If the RAM worked before, I don't see why it shouldn't keep on working. I appreciate the steps you've taken to eliminate certain possibilities, but I would still try to boot from a disk.
Just my 2 worth.

Hi folks,
I have a 7500 upgraded with a NewerTech G3/400 and an ATI 16 MB card that suddenly decided it doesn't want to boot all of the way up. When I turn it on while the monitor is attached to the ATI card, I hear very little disk activity and the power indicator on the monitor stays amber.
If I switch the monitor to the internal video and boot the computer, the monitor will light up but I never get past the grey screen, no extensions load, no flashing disk question mark, nothing.
So far I've pressed the cuda, removed the battery for 10 minutes, replaced the battery with what I'm fairly certain is a good battery, and replaced the NewerTech card with the original daughter card, all with the same result.
Time to start swapping out RAM sticks?
Thanks,
Chris
