It has 512MB EDO RAM, a Sonnet ATA-66 PCI card with a 40GB 7200rpm IDE drive, a Matshita DVD-ROM drive, and a Rage 128 graphics card (pulled from a B&W). It also has a USB1.1 card, and a firewire card. It's currently running 9.1 and Panther (10.3.9). I use it in my classroom for my students to run educational programs. It seems to be the only machine aside from my good old IIsi that's actually reliable (I currently have 2 PC's running XP on the school board network that constantly have problems). For the money I've spent on this machine, I might as well have saved up and just bought a mini mac (but then again I would have been stuck with Classic and not true OS 9). Oh well one can never predict what Jobs has lurking around the corner or over the hill. Save your money and just get a used G4 or wait for the G5's to drop in price. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
