from what little i know of mac's and ram, the g4 machines seem to require lower latency (cas latency i think) sticks than older machines. my fiend bought soem for his g3 imac, then very soon after upgraded to an emac and we couldnt get those to wor, even though they were pc133. we eventually decided it was latency, and they were relegated to the "box of bits"
i could be wrong, but when the stick that did work was compared with the one that didnt, the only difference was the latency of the chips.
