This, of course, is because you did not change the defaults in the control
panel...

David Elmo.

I don't know what control panel YOU use, but MY TT128 certainly does NOT do dual monitors. It will mirror, but that's it. At least, it doesn't in my PowerTower Pro.

Peace,
Drew

This is not the setup I referred to earlier . Currently yhough I have 2 TT 128s in my 9600. A very long original and a 4 MB VRAM.

Only the 4 Meg has a monitor hooked up.

The panel is 4,0 .

Probably because there is no second monitor there is no sign on the panel or subpanels of a mode toggle.
And in the card selector only one is seen.

On my other machine ( this one ) It uses an old Voodoo 3 card.. And the Apple panel says there is only one monitor so it wont show a toggle.

Oddly the Voodoo is set to 1152 X 870 at 75 Hz which is all this cheap KDS monitor will handle.

The TT 128 in the 9600 is set to 1024 X 768 at 72 Hz . There are higher on the list but the frequency or in some cases the pixel ratio gets too high
for the KDS.
