HD is ID#0 w/term. Does ID#6 req. termin.-or is Mac#7 a term on that end?>> If your 12X CD drive is a standard Apple issue there is no termination jumper. There is a Term Pwr jumper and according to previous discussions of long ago it can be left on or off. I have tried it both ways without problems. ID 7 is basically the mobo and that terminates the other end of the SCSI chain. Try starting with extensions off (hold shift key down on startup).
