I reverted to 5.1.6 ages ago after brief unhappy messing with .7 I have never had any trouble that called for .7 What websites ask you to update? Can you turn off the notices (sometimes there is a box for this)? What exactly do you suppose is a "secure connection"? You don't need much security on Macs especially less than OS X. Put back 5 and go to 5.1.6 and stop there. Then get Wacom Mozilla 1.3.1 and use IE only as second string. But perhaps try this first and see if it will do you: Go to you IE 5.1.7 Edit/Preferences/security and untick all the Show an alert boxes like me.
