Hi everyoneŠ

In a recent loss of many things during a rebuild after a virus like
series of system problems etc I find I cannot get my printer to runŠ

I have connected the LW printer to the printer port and have tried
to get the Apple Printer utility (2.2) to recognize the printer so I
can set it up, but no joyŠI am just not sure the printer port is
working even and I'm not sure how to go about this furtherŠ

I'm using a 7600/120 with Sonnet G3/400 card and OS 9.2.2

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Is there some way I can
test if the port is working and its not the printer that wants to
hide?

Have you looked in system help from the menu to guide you in setting
up the printer ?

Does OS 9.2 have a " Chooser " like 9.1 ?

Have you selected the printer in the selection box ?

Does it show up in the selection box?

Is the extension for that particular printer in the folder?

I don't have Desktop Printer Utility installed. Does it have a
checkbox or other means to select a printer port?
