Hello Everyone, I looking at buying more memory (more 128MB sticks) for my 9600, but I'd like to verify what I can mix and match, first.
Right now, I've got 5 64MB sticks and two 32MB sticks installed. I also have 4 128 MB sticks I've yet to install. I will install these soon (in geological terms). If memory serves, once I install the 4 sticks of 128, I can reinstall the 64MB modules, but I should ditch the 32MB modules, yes? If I remember correctly, modules of 32MB and smaller are not good to run, although I can't recall exactly why this is. Can anyone else? Do the 32MB modules tend to fade quicker over time? I just want to make sure that the 64MB modules will be compatible with the 128MB modules when they're installed. Of course, I know that the "slower" memory will set the speed.
