I've read, it should work perfectly in 8600 / 9600
machines. Most successful reports have put 9600
machines being the best. I suspect the updated / newer
ROMs in the 8600 / 9600 class of machines helps.

Hmmm. An interesting theory. I have a Kansas ROM module I could send you to test out your theory--plug it into the 8500 ROM socket. Of course, I'd want it back. :-) Let me know off list ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) if you want to try this experiment.
