Listers,

I have a PM 7200 with 96MB RAM and 1.2 SCSI harddrive and running OS 8.6. I
have been having trouble with Mc Afee Virus Scanner 6.2 As I start the
machine I see that there is a red "x" on the virus scanner icon. When I look in the Extension Folder everything that is related to the virus scanner
is highlighted.

Should I be concerned?

If you want to do the mental exercise of trying to track down an extension problem, go ahead and try and figure it out.

If you are concerned about OS 9 virii, spyware or worms, don't worry. There are none in the wild so using McAfee on an OS 9 Mac is like paying for a magic charm to prevent you from being attacked by a marauding elephant herd in Canada.
