The 9150 was based on the Quadra 950, which has a side door that pops off, kinda like the 8600 case. It also has five nubus slots. If I were going to keep my 950, I'd probably be hunting for a 9150/120 logic board right now. If it is what I think it is, then I guess what you could do, is transfer the 9500 motherboard to the 8600 case and turn the 8600 into a 9600... Then, just slap a G3 processor into it. Otherwise, I could send you my 8500/120's motherboard and processor, which would turn your 8600 into an 8600/120... Kinda slow. But, it'd be alive again. -J ++++ John H.
