Without an internal CDRom, it may have a SCSI termination problem.
Might try putting the CDRom back in (even if it doesn;t work, it might
provide the proper termination), and see if the external one now works.

tried switching off the start up disk control but it still opens the

application or extension called Proxy App is missing. Could this be the
