Think you have to bend, push in on the middle (centerline) while pulling
on the sides. Ill take a look at a 6400 I have standing around. Got my
6500 (presently in exile at my mom´s) open without any more serious tools
than half a clothes peg.
All thanks to instructons found on Zone6400.

Indeed Sonnet does that. If you stuff in a processor upgrade (sonnet
again), then its a good OS9 machine, maxed out with RAM (128 meggs).
