I know what you mean. I had an upgraded to the max 6500, then a resident student (I keep foreign students for the local colleges) gave me her B&W & I upgraded the CPU in it to 500 & added memory and another hard drive (I still have room for a third one), BUT I was very attached to my OS 9.1 programs, so---fortunately I could put the OS 9.1 (upgraded to OS 9.2.2 on one HD & it would run in the Classic environment, along with OS 10.3. Still trying to get used to it and get it all "sorted out". I still like some of the features of the OS 9 better than the OS 10. Too bad I didn't wait about a month as they came out with OS10.4 which has some better features than 10.3. I think the G 3 is about the last one that will run both operating systems. Maybe some G 4's will.

PS Good to hear from you again

I know that I'm going to get one of the Quad 2.5 G5s

I don't know what to do with my PCI stuff once I get a
new G5. I'm actually fond of these things in the same
way I used to be fond of my old Ducati motorcycles.
