Something about OS X:
The Darwin Kernel is called XNU = X is Not Unix :P

It's based on several Unices (a fusion of FreeBSD userspace and the mach kernel with some higher level NeXT stuff) but was never an official certified Unix.

Just trivia! I'm not raining on anybody's parade here!
