I just returned from my sons in CA and he has pacbell. Terribly disappointed in it. When he can stay connected, its very fast, but while we were there (about 5 days) 3 of them were out as far as getting to the net. He could get his mail, but there was something wrong with the server. He said that his biggest problem is two fold, 1) keeping connected and 2) the connection software seems to be unstable and he has to install it frequenly.
