Keith, if his is like Bellsouth is here in LA, you don't need
connection software.  Just install the drivers for the modem,
then create the connection in DUN and enter the number there
(if the drivers did not do it) and the user & password.  Make
sure he has the correct filters on ALL devices that use the
same phone line as the DSL modem.

disappointed in it.  When he can stay connected, its very
fast, but
while we were there (about 5 days) 3 of them were out as far
as getting
to the net.  He could get his mail, but there was something
wrong with
the server.  He said that his biggest problem is two fold, 1)
keeping
connected and 2) the connection software seems to be unstable
and he has
to install it frequenly.
