I can boot up into safe mode, but not a regular boot. I have a
Compaq 5240 running W98. On running boot with step by step confirmation
it gets to a file called vswp.vxd.... seems to load it and halts at
this point, locking up so it won't continue to boot. Anyone have an
idea what this file is, what it is used for and how to fix the problem.
I have reloaded Windows a few times already.
