Ok, I knew it was a hidden file WITHIN the folder being
open/used or modified (but only sometimes), but why is it
hidden within another folder? I don't understand why this
file is in some folders, yet in other folders it is not, and
the folders do all exhibit the same behavior. My recycle bin
and program files folder is still messed up though. All the
rest are OK.
Thanks,
-Clint

Clint, any time that you modify a folder in any way the
folder.htt (Hyper
Text Template) file is automatically generated by IE,
normally it is a
hidden file found in C:\Windows\Web.
