Thank you! Roger. I have installed Driver Detective. I have window 98 SE
and have had no problems. Dorian

Just FYI, I have discovered a very nice couple of pieces of
 free software
which give a handle on delving into your PC drivers. It is
 called PC
Drivers Headquarters (many of you already know about it). The
 URL is
 http://www.drivershq.com/right.html

There are two nice programs there for free. One called
 Driver Detective,
which I use to ferret out the drivers and related files,
 *.drv,vxd, dll on
my system and examine them so I can get rid of the ones I no
 longer need

it identifies by manufacturer, program, date ) and the other
 is called
Driver Backup which allows me to back up my existing drivers
 when I change
 them out so if I screw it up . . . :(
 - Regards,
 Roger
