An swf file is a shockwave file so this is probably some sort of animation file.
A Google search came up with the following: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=104 which said that it (per_seg5.sw_) is a file furnished with XP Home but not XP Pro. I'm sure you can do without it or you can try to get it off of your cd and expand it later if you really want to.
