Hi David, Did you try just pressing the Enter key? If there is no password, then this should work.

My dialup connection was just as bad as before, but the re-installation did remove my sound, USB, and graphics drivers. The system refused to recognize the drivers on my motherboard CD. That CD had worked in the past. I tried to format Drive C: (I have several NTFS partitions; Windows is on Drive C:) However, Windows won't let me format a drive with system files. I tried to use Format in the Recovery Console. However, it asked for my password. I don't have a password. After trying three passwords, it restarted the computer. How can I bypass the password question in Recovery Console and format Drive C:?
