Some of that you are reading is old stuff. Most power supply fans now blow
out. It never made any sense to blow hot power supply air into the case.
I just did a Google search on the internet so the articles probably were old ones.
How hot is your computer running? You'd be surprised at how hot these things will run and be fine unless you are overclocking.
It was 50 C so I went in and moved some cables and now it runs 48-49. But I think the old power supply was running a few degrees cooler. I know in the summer I was running 53 C. I'm afraid when summer gets here I'll be up around 56 C.
I'm running an AMD Athlon 1.4 G with two harddrives. The fan quit working on my old PS. This computer is about 3 years old. It is on about 7 hours per day.
