One of my computers freezes while connected to the ISP. Sometimes it occurs when checking e-mail with Eudora and sometimes it occurs when using Internet Explorer. There is no pattern to the freeze. It can last from a few seconds to a minute or so.
It is not the ISP because it happens with two different ISPs. It is not the modem, a Zoom serial port modem, because the modem works fine on another computer. I suspect it might have something to do with the "rnaapp" program, because sometimes, I can go into the task manager and end "rnaapp" and the connection comes back but "rnaapp" doesn't actually end. Perhaps something to do with TCP/IP? It's driving me even loonier than I already am. Windows 98 SE. Pentium four three GHz.
