Thanks Meir but I'm talking about 10 computers not just one. The cards are brand new and working fine. As I said I can ping each computer from any other and , in fact, if I use "search" I can read any computer. They just don't show up in " Network places".

I had this same problem and I had to do two things. First shut down all firewalls, start them back up after you get the problem solved. Using search as you said and the make a shortcut on each desktop once the ping is ok.
