In a couple of clicks I've done what I spent hours and hours trying to figure out how to do. It never occurred to me to look under Adapter. Thanks for your encouragement, Lynne, but there really was a flicker, and now it's gone. So now I'm gonna kick back, and whatever other things you recommended :) And thanks Clint for your patience.
