Meir I can't get your original posts, probably a blocked bad IP 
range.  I'm not talking about IE which is Iexplore.exe, but 
Explorer.exe.  What you describe is normal behavior.

Yes Peter, I'm hoping I can get a few on SP2 to at least reply 
as to how many explorer.exe's they have running, opening and 
closing folders.  I only got one reply so far (thanks again 
Mike) and he didn't have the issue.

Remember that "explorer.exe" is the shell that we all interface 
with
while "IEXPLORE.EXE" is Internet Explorer.

Why Clint has 2 instances of explorer.exe running is
