I'm running SP2 here on all my machines. On an explorer window, go to tools, View and scroll down and see if you have "Launch folder windows in a separate process" checked. I can cause two instances of explorer.exe if that is checked.

Meir I can't get your original posts, probably a blocked bad IP range. I'm not talking about IE which is Iexplore.exe, but Explorer.exe. What you describe is normal behavior. Yes Peter, I'm hoping I can get a few on SP2 to at least reply as to how many explorer.exe's they have running, opening and closing folders. I only got one reply so far (thanks again Mike) and he didn't have the issue. -Clint God Bless Clint Hamilton, Owner http://OrpheusComputing.com ) http://ComputersCustomBuilt.com ============= PCWorks Mailing List ================= Don't see your post?
