Karl, I appreciate the input and I have that one set the way you
suggest. It seems after ready Clint's post that I should set it
differently and I will do that.
My problem is I can not figure out what is keeping me from going to the
MS update site and what is keeping me from using the help files in
FP2003. (when the help file goes to IE.) It all works fine if I turn my
FW (sygate) off or change to allow all.
I read my traffic logs in and out and do not see anything causing the
problem. I just wrote to Sygate and waiting for a reply.

Firewall icon in the tray, left click Applications. For Generic
