If you can't boot from a floppy and the CMOS screen doesn't show, and there
are no diagnostic beep codes, you probably have a dead Motherboard. Try
removing all components and see if you get any beep codes.

The hard drive was removed and being
examined separately. The floppy drive and memory
stick were tested separately and are known to be
good. A good floppy boot disk was in the drive.
I expected some activity when the CPU jumped to
the CMOS for its first instructions. I do not believe
any of the other lights flashed, indicating activity
in those components. There did not seem to be
any warming of the CPU which would indicate
activity there. I was looking for any tricks to
tell me why there was no activity. I will try
to be more observant the next time I turn
it on.
