PCWorks: Adobe Reader question

My adoboe reader 7 does not have the ability to select a part of a page 
and then print it. The "snapshot" function is not available. It is 
dimmed. The object select function is there and appears to function but 
I can't find any info on it in the help menu. All I want to do is select 
a part of a page and print it.
