There are some pdf documents that the author has protected. With these,
you cannot copy any part of it. You might try FoxIt reader (pdf reader)
where you can save back a copy and now you should be able to take parts
of it as you are trying. To get just text, you do not want to use the
camera, but the little vertical line that allows you to highlight the
text you want. If you want the full graphic layout, etc, then you
will want to use the camera which will copy to a graphics program (via
the clipboard). You can get Foxit at
