Harold: I do not know how to get my computer into hibernation, but I do know that it uses a file called hiberfil.sys which is system and hidden and difficult to do anything with. It is 981,556 Kb and in the c:\ folder. All the data on the condition of your computer when it goes into hibernation is stored there. Did you somehow delete it?
>From what you describe it looks like the computer cannot find the data it needs to return from hibernation so it starts a normal booting procedure (removable media first).
