Are you sure you really want to change the behaviour instead of just 
documenting it? Won't this break all overlapping FFTs patches which rely on a 
[samplerate~] object? If one wants the 'correct' behaviour for overlapping, 
he/she could use [iem_samplerate~] which was designed for this very purpose...
