Clyde,

Using activePDF Toolkit you can have your form on the server and provide
a web form for the users to fill out. Toolkit will then take this data
and populate it into your form in memory and send it to the clients
browser. From there they can print the filled form or save it and email
it. This way the original form is never changed and you will not get a
build up of temporary files located on your server.

Subject: [PDF-Forms] Multiple Page Forms

PDF-Forms is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/

Friends,

I am truly impressed with the knowledge base of the participants of the
list! Every day, I am learning new things that improve my ability to
create useful PDF forms.

My question today is one that has stumped me for months. I initially
posted it on the Adobe Forum Page but got tired of checking for an
answer after several months.

Using Acrobat 4.0, I have a number of multi-page forms that I have
posted on our department's Intranet site. I am applying security to
each document (changing document and select text or graphics). I have
tried to set page action on page close (or open) to "reset form" in
order to make sure that a clean copy remains on the server. When I do
that, multi-page forms reset the first page when you move to the second
page and vice versa. The process works fine for single page forms!

Staff need to be able to access, complete, save to their desktop, email
and print forms. (We are not at the stage where we would use the FPF
format - long story).

Without the page action, I am afraid that staff will leave completed
forms on the server. Is there a way I can permit the completion of
multiple page forms (online or on the desktop once saved) and have the
page action reset the form just to be safe.

Again, I appreciate all of the information that is provided on this list
and look forward to your suggestions or advice.
