That's your problem right there. The Mac purports to have support for ISO 9660 discs ... and it does, but only at 'ISO 9660 Level 1' This means basically 8.3. You can get around the problem by burning a proper Mac/ISO hybrid which will allow you to have filenames up to the full limit of MAC OS 9.x of 31 characters, but this obviously does not fix your filenames at 36 characters In either instance what happens is this Windows filenames: this is my file.pdf this is my other file.pdf On the Mac these become: this i~1.pdf this i~2.pdf Obviously since these are now the filenames that the mac is 'seeing' it can no longer 'see' the target files specified. OSX does not suffer from this problem. So your options are 1) re-author 2) Create a proper Mac/PC hybrid disc and re-author JUST the links that are longer than 31 characters. dean laffan r e a l w o r l d p r o d u c t i o n s 6 7 l i t t l e g e o r g e s t, f i t z r o y m e l b o u r n e, a u s t r a l i a 3 0 6 5 home/office +613-9419-3966 Mobile 0418-525-315 -- To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdf.html
