Hello. Is there any way to remove the titles from comments in a PDF? If so, they would be quite IDEAL for my purpose, which is not document review, but rather providing mini-transcripts of little video clips I will be placing into a linguistics paper. I see how to modify the title and author, so I could fill them in with other stuff such as the utterance number(s), and the word 'Transcript'. And though it would be a pain, I suppose I could change my computer's date to the date of each transcript so that it will get put in, too. Now if I could just get rid of the pesky TIME OF DAY, which is irrelevant since I would not be using the Notes for comments in a review process, and would of course will not correspond to the time of day of the transcript, which usually isn't known anyway. Is there any way get rid of this time of day? Or if not, then is there a way to make the yellow title bar disappear? Or maybe, a way to keep the notes from opening when the user clicks on them in the Reader, so that only the 'screen tips' format is available? It may sound like I'm being picky, but I would like the document to be really attractive. The Notes format would be PERFECT, if only. Just one click to view a transcript, another to get it out of the way. Yes, I know I could attach a little text file for each mini-transcript, but that will open up, e.g., Word with all its many useless buttons. Tacky. Or it would open Notepad in a window that's not sized right, and with the word 'Notepad' at the top, yuck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Peyton Todd [EMAIL PROTECTED] P.S. Does anyone know if Javascript in Acrobat could do this? It would not have to tweak the Notes mechanism if it could just open a little text window when you click a button...
