This is not an answer to your question, but just a repeat of a different,
but similar post. We are having problems with scanned documents produced by
Acrobat 6 working with RightFax software.
If Adobe monitors this site (which I hope they do), I hope they are picking
up on these problems and working with the vendors that are having problems.
I my situation, I had to revert the PC's attached to the scanners back to
Acrobat 5.
Likewise in another post, I am not happy with the new Send Mail function
and have yet to get it to work with Lotus Notes.

Hi folks,
I've got Windows 2000, Outlook 2000 SR1, latest MS
updates on security in place (just downloaded one
last week, which is about the time the problem
started -- uninstalled update, but did not fix),
and Adobe Acrobat Professional (v6).
For months, I could scan files on my Xerox
Document Centre 425 and email directly to my
account. A single click on the PDF attachment
would open the file nicely. Since last week, I can
still open PDF attachments from all other sources,
but no longer from my Xerox machine. A single
click now results in the "save to disk" or "open"
window. If I try to open, I open into an empty
window under C:\WINNT\system32. If I try to save,
I get "Outlook cannot save the URL to a file. Path
does not exist. Make sure the path is correct." If
I try to move the file to the desktop or some
other folder, I get, "Cannot create another system
semaphore."
I repaired Adobe Acrobat 6 last night. I
uninstalled the XMSL (or whatever) update that MS
installed last week. Still nothing.
Any ideas?
Gary Steffy
