Curious, I just had a 4/C file, made the same way (quark 5.0 and will produce a pdf (prepress quality) through acrobat 6.0) that would not separate. When I had the customer send me the native files, the artwork was indeed cmyk. There were 2 tiff's & 2 eps'. I opened them, re-saved, then dropped back into the doc, worked perfect. It still has me puzzled. Any ideas? Jackie J. Hello, I am about to test another way to deliver files to my printer. I have my newsletter file on quark 5.0 and will produce a pdf (prepress quality) through acrobat 6.0. I work on a PC. My printer has Mac, acrobat 5.0 and agfa accuset 1000 (type setter).
