Hello,
The main purpose of PDF is to maintain format and fonts when documents are moved from one computer to another. Working on the pc and transferring file to the mac always runs into problems with fonts especially for DTP files. I just found out that with indesign you can transform fonts to outlines before saving as PDF or EPS. Quark doesn't.
