That is true, some fonts don't allow embedding.
If that's the case, you need to switch fonts OR contact the vendor for a version which does support it. Most companies will sell you an "upgrade" to a version of the font which is embeddable - I did that with my own corporate fonts. Cost about $20.
The ONLY solution I have found is to outline the fonts.
Keep in mind that although technically valid, is skirts the legal issue.
