I think it's hard for old Acrobat hands to get used to - but worthwhile once you are 
there.

I think it's decidedly EASIER for people who are "graduating" from Reader... and it's 
better for people who are new to Reader as well.

"Stealthy" implies deceit - which is not the case. They simply removed a feature 
without properly judging the reaction, then restored it when some people (myself among 
them, even though I don't use it) complained.  Good for them for correcting the error.

Here's what I think you need to know.  A6 is different.  Many differences are subtle.  
On the whole, it's a major improvement towards fulfilling the core Acrobat missions.  
Granted... you have to get used to it.  But what's the alternative?  Keep building in 
A5?

Adobe needs (and deserves) revenue for all the new stuff.  Users will adopt A6 and 
move on, like they do with everything else that matters to them.  

I agree with you that a roll-out of a usable list of feature changes, 
incompatibilities, etc. would be useful.  I imagine Adobe thinks of these little 
hassles as Darwinism - if they think of it at all.
