myDocument.pdf#page=14

Don't forget the "#"
;-)

OK, we tried that but still no go. Perhaps the explanation wasn't clear.

I have two files, let me call the first the target file and the second the source file. The target file is a multi-page vanilla pdf document (containing jpg images). The source file is a word document that will eventually be converted into a pdf file and contain links to specific pages within the target file. I'm using the #page=pagenum parameter ie: the links are of the form "myDocs/target.pdf#page=14" where the actual page number varies.

However, whenever the links are followed the target file opens properly but fails to jump to the desired page. It should be noted that all link creations are done in MSWord manually using the Insert->Hyperlink item (eventually programatically in VBScript ). I think I'm missing something very simple but for the life of me I can't tell what. Any light on this problem would be much appreciated. Many Thanks!!

TIA -- Ray
